UK Cyclist: Long-distance and leisure cycling in the South-west and elsewhere

Each year Anne Learmonth raises money for Marie Curie, whose nurses looked after her late husband, Dave Lewis during his last illness. In previous years she has ridden The 'Etape Pennine' sportif event and many people have sponsored her.

That event is not running in 2015, so Anne has designed and produced a traditional woven cloth badge to raise funds this year. You can obtain one by donating £10 or more via Just Giving.

Many cyclists will remember Dave Lewis's love of cycling (and beer). You may well know of the superb work Marie Curie does caring for the terminally ill. Find out more about Marie Curie here.

Donate via Anne's Just Giving page here.

To claim your badge: you need also to send your name and address to Anne, quoting your donation details if they're different. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

A traditional cloth badge to sew on to your road-jersey pocket or on to a saddle-bag, or use it as a beer mat. Dave would approve of any of these.

Thank-you for your support for Marie Curie, and here's to the memory of Dave Lewis. Read Dave's cycling autobiography here.
